My valentine

I'm sitting alone watching tv with a plate of triple creme cheese from France...depressing a little, I know, but we had a good day me and baby at least! And he made up for not napping well by going to bed awake but without crying at all so mama could enjoy her dinner and relax in peace. He also gobbled down his dinner and is getting super chunky from all the foods he's been eating. Curious to know what percentile he's in now because of it! People have been telling me he looks bigger than their babies of comparable ages

Food!  We are finally at a good place with eating solids.  He will eat basically anything.  This includes a paper envelope that I let him chew on while we went grocery shopping and when I took it out of his mouth a huge chunk was missing and there were little bite marks all around the hole.  We'll probably be seeing the remnants from that in a few days!  He eats some fruits and he has had egg yolk for breakfast foods.  He eats a little of whatever we're eating throughout the day but I usually also feed him some sweet potato with oatmeal cereal mixed in it, or some carrots, or anything else pureed.  He does eat a little bit of "adult" food though too - he ate some white beans with chicken this afternoon.  Seems like he just needed a few more weeks to grow and get into it because one day last week he suddenly took purees and foods like a champ.

photos from the past few weeks.  he has been changing so much lately!  i feel like the past week or two i've really started to notice a big leap - bigger than any leap so far.  he just seems way goofier and more interactive.  squirmier too!  he's being silly in a lot of these shots

I'm guessing these were from a couple Sundays ago because Jared is in them and it is before 11 oclock P.M !  Lately he gets home around 11pm Mon-Fri, 4pm Sat, and he has Sundays off.  We make the most of our weekends with quality time that's for sure
