Today was baby's first day at his daycare. It's a privately owned center, a house turned into a daycare, about 5-10 minutes from my classes. I will be bringing him with me every Monday and he'll be there for 5 hours, one day a week. The best part is that there is a Starbucks and a Kroger right next to it, so you know where you'll find me relaxing and grocery shopping during the free hour I have before class starts. He seemed to recognize me when I picked him up - barely noticeable but I could tell. Mostly he just looked at me like I was a piece of food because he was super hungry but at least he knows what I'm there for I guess!
I hope he doesn't get sick frequently because of this...probably inevitable but I'm hoping that being there such a short amount of time it won't happen too often.
