I got a nice new camera (thanks mom and dad for the baby gift!!) and it takes great photos, especially up-close macro shots!
Here are a few from day 4 and 5 of life
This one is with my phone camera so it isn't so great but they had to put the IV in his head after trying both hands because he kept ripping it out by kicking his feet to grab the tube with his foot. It doesn't hurt him, they say he really doesn't even wake up. It's back in his hand today though I noticed.
On Monday the 16th we moved out of our room. I was discharged Sunday but we stayed overnight for free in the room because they didn't need it. Now I will be coming here every day from 8am - 11pm. Although if I can't get him to eat on time (doesn't he know we're on a tight schedule??) then we end up being here as late as midnight and get home around 12:30am.
Jared has gone back to work because he is saving his PTO vacation time for when he comes home. It is working well so far, 2 hours into it, but I'm sure I'll go crazy pretty soon sitting here by myself. Today hasn't started off so badly though - Soy coffee with toasted bagel, internet surfing, and enjoying the first day of sun I've seen in 4 days. I feel like a vampire!
He was also under a bili light for a day but they say he will probably go off of it today.
