34 weeks as of tomorrow (friday)
Sitting here now, been here since 7:45 am approximately. It's now 2:30 and I just ate a weird beef pasty for lunch. I was starving!
6:30 am I got up early to make us breakfast before he went to work for our anniversary. Went to the bathroom but had a strange gush of fluid and decided to wait a little while to see if it was really broken water or not, which it was, and quite a bit of it. Snuck in a shower and packed our bags super fast, headed to L&D, and they did a few tests which confirmed it was my water, so I was officially staying in the hospital and delivering at some point in the next 12-48 hours.
They have given me 2 antibiotics because he's premature, and he may need some time in the NICU, but nothing severe. They have been telling me for a week now that once I hit 34 weeks I'm pretty much good to go and the complications would be slight so they would not stop labor if it happened, which it did.
They will give me meds tonight to soften my cervix and if I don't go into labor on my own they'll give me pitocin tomorrow early morning.
Jared just went home to get some things, such as our camera charger which we didn't realize was dead, and to let the dog outside.
Alot of fluid, and really uncomfortable sitting in this bed with monitors and an IV. argg
